Holding in Company

Renewable Energy Holdings plc ("REH" or "the Company")

REH announces that it was notified today that on 6th August 2008 Utilico Limited ("Utilico") acquired a further 5,583,166 shares in the Company. Following this acquisition, Utilico is now interested in 13,645,666 ordinary shares in the Company, representing approximately 20.81% of the Company's issued share capital.
